The topic should probably be changed from A Guide to an Efficient Hobopolis to something like Hobopolis Stunt Run Guide. A specific guide for hamster runs would also be a good idea even though this pretty much contains all the information for that.

I make the most efficient case to be:

CLEESH all.
Flimflam 21 times (dependent on EE cold water diverts, minimum 13 flimflams required in order for BG to be efficiently danced)
Start several fights 34 times (this being the point at which total hobos killed by the brawl stops being more efficient than killing manually)
Kill the remaining ~ 13 manually.
Kill chester.

Total turns spent if you're being brutally efficient with your CLEESHing: 21 + 34 + 13 + 1 = 69

Formulas applied are
Starting hobo count = 500
Barfight kills 10% of all remaining hobos rounded.
Remaining hobos - 10% = x

As you can see below, unless my program is broken, 34 barfights is the optimal point:

This is (technically) wrong. It's 7 trashcanos to get I Refuse! for the first man in. Then it increments one per player to get I Refuse! So for any team of players, the formula is:

7 + (P - 1) = T

Where P is number of participants
And T is the number of trashcanos required for all to be able to get I Refuse!

Several of the mechanisms were changed since I composed this file. (My enthusiasm for keeping it maintained waned slightly, due to some circumstances that arose around then.) I'm afraid I can't remember my reasoning on everything, but the footnotes, which I took care to maintain pretty tightly, should help.

As a result, the information regarding the cold zone became much more spaded out (leaving my numbers sort of in limbo) and I seem to recall sleaze was explicitly changed, frustrating all the spaders.

If anybody wants to update it, be my guest. =P
