Where are the clan announcements?
You should have links at the top of your browser something like these (new players won't have them all):

documentation report bug store donate forums radioIf you click the clan link it will take you to the main clan hall page. The announcements are towards the bottom of that page. Most clan pages will also have a Back to Clan Hall link at the bottom of the page that will take you to the clan hall page. Everyone should read the clan announcements very carefully and check them often for updates and new information. Very important things are posted in the clan announcements.
What is this about a clan literacy test?
In a game like this you have to be able to read and understand stuff. In a large clan like ours people that can't read or are just too lazy to read end up just being annoying. Who wants to hear the same silly questions asked over and over again in clan chat? Now we like to help people but we also like people to be able to help themselves. In a effort to prove people are worthy to be a part of the clan we have created a little test. The test requires some reading and also that you use your brain a little bit. It's really not very hard unless you try to rush through it and don't pay attention. Don't ask for help with the test, find and read it yourself. To find the test read the clan announcements.
Why is the clan called SevenLances.com and the website is SevenLances.net?
Well that goes back a long time. The person that owns the .com name and the person that runs the website had some disagreements. I really don't know all the details and don't really care. So the person that runs the website (Mephista) purchased SevenLances.net and set up a new website and these nice forums. So that is why this is our new home.
What is Seven Lances anyway?
Seven Lances is the name of a Diablo 2 MOD. It is also a story The War of the Seven Lances. Long before there was a KoL clan called SevenLances.com there was a fun little community that played Diablo 2 together and they made a MOD for it that changed the game, made it better, and more fun.
If you don't run the old website or the new website why didn't you make your own clan?
Because I like the people and I only found out about KoL from them in the first place. I actually never really wanted to be the leader of a big clan or group of people. I just did it because nobody else did and I thought it would be fun for us to hang out in a clan since we played the game together anyway. I probably wouldn't have done it if I had known all the work that was involved. But it is also a lot of fun and I have met some very nice people from all over the world.
Why are you so mean?
Because people keep asking me dumb questions like that!
I'm usually not too mean but I can be sometimes. It does help keep some of you people in line though. I'm actually usually in a good mood most of the time unless something really irritates me. Sometimes all the work involved with the clan along with too many stupid kmails like "can u send me some meat so i can start a clan" (I get crazy requests like that) can make me cranky. Hey I like to play the game too you know. So if I seem cranky it might just be that I'm really busy.
Will you loan me some meat?
Probably not. With over a 1000 people in my clan loaning people meat is just more work I'd rather not deal with.
How'd you get so rich?
First, there are a lot of players a lot richer than I am. I've gotten most of my wealth from donating, buying Mr. Store items, saving them for a long time, and then selling them for lots of meat. The most I've made was selling some Tomes of Snowcone Summoning for about 40,000,000 meat. They're worth a lot more now but some of that meat got me more items of the month that I will save until they're worth more. I've also spent a lot of time buying stuff in the mall when it's cheap and selling it for a profit. I also never play the MMG or gamble my meat away.
Elemental_Burn is your multi, aren't multis illegal?
No multis are not illegal. Multi abuse is illegal.

Basically if you make or use another account to help one of your accounts that's multi abuse. The rules state it a bit differently but that's basically one of the things not to do. SevenLances_com is also my multi which will be used as a clan buffbot. Zaranthos is the first account I created and my main character. Elemental_Burn is not my main account and will probably be used less and less. If you want to contact me use my main account Zaranthos.
I sent you a PM / Kmail and you ignored me why?
I don't usually ignore anyone or at least I try not to. Keep in mind I'm logged in for hours at a time but that doesn't mean I'm actually at my computer. A lot of the work I do is at home so I might be away working on something or just doing something else while I'm still logged in. I use Zaranthos the most usually and might not log in on my other accounts everyday nor do I check kmail on them as much. Just because you send me a PM doesn't mean I will see it. Even when I'm in chat and chatting if I get a lot of PM's it's easy to miss one especially if I'm also trying to play the game or do other things. Please keep in mind I'm busy and don't PM me for something unless it's important. A lot of things can be handled by admins in the clan and don't always require my attention. Now I might ignore you if you're asking silly questions that you could ask in chat for anyone to answer or just foolishly wasting my time. I might also ignore kmails if you don't quote a message when replying. I get many, many kmails per day and while you might remember what the last message was about I probably will not. Please quote a message when replying to me so I know what it's about. Other than that if you think I ignored you just send the message again if you've waited more than a day (don't spam me please). With all the kmail I get it's possible I could accidentally delete a message. Please, please, please do not ask for rank upgrades or other things more than once. If you ask more than one admin they both end up checking to see if you meet the requirements and that wastes their time and is very rude. Every clan member has a spot in their profile for a title (click their name to see their profile). Below Clan: Name_of_clan_they're_in is a spot for Title:. Sometimes people will have helpful information in their profile or title. If you see "Off Duty" in an admins title it means they're not available to help you and you'll need to find an admin that's able to help you. Remember, it's good to help yourself first if you can.
