Again, sorry for the delay in sending out the prizes from Mother's Day product contest. Working during the week I don't have as much energy to get online until the weekends.

Thank you to everyone who participated in sending a product description. They were a lot of fun to read! I'll share them here so everyone can enjoy them.

Hi, it's Bentham with Slap Squash!

You’re going to be in a great mood all day, because you’re going be squashing your troubles away with the Slap Squash.

Now, look here’s a frog. One slap you got big chunks for Frogade, two slaps Staff of the Well-Tempered Cauldron in a second. And, look at this when you add a reagent: the more you do it, the finer it gets you don’t have to switch any gear.

Now, you love delicious salad -- you hate making it. You know you hate making delicious salads -- that’s why you don’t have any delicious salad in your diet. Watch this one slap... delicious salad! I love Goat Cheese Pizza too, but once in a while get the frogs in, at least throw it on top of the pizza.

...this could have gone on all day

Say goodbye to overdevelopment misery with BANBUILD! Simply scatter BANBUILD squashed frogs on the streets near YOUR home and Presto! Your neighborhood will be zoned as an official nature sanctuary! See housebuilders flee in terror! Listen to the groans of greedy real estate lawyers! Mock scruffy homeless people who wanted to move into your area!

She's passed on! This frog is no more! She has ceased to be! She's expired and gone to meet 'er maker! She's a stiff! Bereft of life, she rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed 'er to the display case she'd be pushing up the daisies! 'er metabolic processes are now 'istory! She's kicked the bucket, shuffled off 'er mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-FROG!!

Dearest Mother:

I'm sorry I never listened when you told me not to play with my food. I was going to send you Cuisses de grenouille with a pair of legs for each year you have told me not to do that, but...I couldn't help myself and was playing with the frogs while preparing them and accidentally squashed them. Oops.

But, since there can "BE only ONE," (according to Highlander).... the winner of the new Designer Handbag is:

1st  place winner "Bentham!" with his product "Slap Squash."  Made me laugh the most just picturing it.
2nd place winner  Captain Sensible for his BanBuild environmentally unique product.
3rd place winner is Nohbody for the Do-It-Your-Self Froggie Belchs Kit. (just what every frog needs)

Thank you thank you thank you.. for the great product descriptions and thought put into them. :)

The contest is, as they say, coming down to the wire. Everyone who still wants to enter will have until rollover tomorrow 15 May, 2010. Then give me a week or so to sort out the prizes, etc. I've still lots to give.. plus random hidden prizes for persons who sent the 5000th and 10000th frogs, a few specific dates/times, and such.

To tell you the truth, I have enjoyed taking part to the contest a lot more than the previous edition :)
Thank you very much, Froggie Legs and sponsors for the prizes!

I think Froggie should be awarded a prize for the energy she placed in the update for this thread, as I am sure, dispatching prizes and summarizing all the submissions were a logistical nightmare!

Hope the frog prices goes down in the future, I intend to see her on the top position one day!

Aww.. thanks Mando. I apologise for not being as timely at awarding prizes as I should have been. Life got a bit more busy than I had anticipated  ::) . Glad to hear I'm getting better at running contests!

I do have to thank Aoi, profusely, for her spreadsheet help, without which I would probably still be doing calculations. But she graciously took my list and put it into three database boards so I could see who donated what on which day, etc. etc.

The grid numbers were the only thing I had to go back and re-do as my calculations got off. Other than that I  thoroughly enjoyed every one's creative energy into package inclusions... poetry, songs, literary allusions or references. I'll have to post some of them on here. Thanks again for being patient with me and helping me collect *my precious* froggies!
