So far
Two Week Grand Total: +494,901 Meat
 ;)
Just gotta know what your doing ;)
Funny, Kissmekillme.  No offnse, but you'll find later that 494,901 in 14 days isn't a great deal, although it really is for a lamzor n00b. :)  I'd say that I'm midrange and I pull in over 100,000 a day.

I concur, Disco. MMG sucks your soul dry.

So, uh, does anyone use this form to talk about the IotM?  :P

I know people like to stick to their favourites, but the He-Boulder seems like it would be a fair familiar for meat farming. Attacking (once per combat) Leprechaun + healing?

It mightn't become an all-time winner, but it's not too shabby, either.

1. First time you use he ability each day, you get the major beam.

2. Major yellow beam = monster drops all of its non-conditional drops.

What monsters have the most valuable/rare drops? :D

I'm thinking Swarm of Scarab Beatles, if only bc of the amount of items it drops. :)

Think big!
Think http://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/Spice_melange - too bad this is marked as "conditional drop" :( - but what's the condition?

Not sure how poor http://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/Hodgman would react to this, maybe will just ignore the effect, but hey! Hastn't been spaded yet, am afraid

Good thinking, when there are new items the devs oft forget to properly guard against all things, so that might work somehow...

The melange is a .1% drop, which is coded as a 1% drop with a condition of "don't drop 90% of the time".

Already been spaded that you'd get a yellow minor ray instead again bosses.

How could I miss the potential benefits of this familiar in Hardcore?

Here are some sweet uses for the major yellow ray in HC:

Outfits (knob elite, harem, hippy, pirate, miner, war frat/hippy)
Booze giants
Shaky clowns (clownosity + booze)
Getting elusive items like gremlin juice, scent glands, black picnic basket

Plus, the fam equipment, aside +5lbs, let's you use major ray every 101 turns (probably fixed to 100) instead of 150.

Oh, joy!

Averaging 900 turns per run, it means you get to use it three more times. Worth it (getting the fam equipment)?
