Hi Lechef,

It occured to me the other day that the ronin guide needs to take account of moon signs - for example, the blender increases adventure return from drinking and (is it oppossum) increases adventures from food.  There is also a muscle sign that has a chance of increasing muscle substats that may be significant in reaching higher levels earlier for SC/TT.  Also, the clover drops of the (marmot) can be worth having if you are lucky enough - trade in for either stats or food/booze.

And what of those exciting new corpse drinks - the adventure return seems broadly in the same range as TPS drinks, but at a fraction of the cost...

Oh, and for those with a pull to spare or an Astral Badger, the munchies pills give increased adventure return from food too.

I don't think that gear would help get more adventures, the requirements are pretty low though, maybe some would help getting more moxie/muscle and thus adventure in more xp areas so you gain level 7 faster for hi meins, unless at level 7 is when you actually get to wear the gear.. would have to check on that..

Will have to update the guide when I get a chance with those corpse drinks, munchies pills and signs too..
There are 10 types of people, those who understand binary and those who don't ..

The brimstone gear has an equip requirement of 30, same as stainless steel so you would be looking at early level 6 for mainstat-dependent items and late 6/early 7 for the rest (depending on how much attention you pay to your offstats).  I would suggest that they, at best, have a limited effect on turn generation/escaping Ronin, based on a marginally faster reaching of level 7 (a few turns at best) through better substat generation.

how about a first and second day pulls list? after my bad moon loop is finished, i am going to take a break from hardcore, and i never really got the knack of softcore ascending. it would really help. heck, we could put together a script in greasemonkey/mafia that pulls the stuff for you.

EDIT: Just found it. I love you, darth.

I just want to point out that this is a wiki so anyone else can also just add to the Strategy guide. So feel free to add your strategy suggestions right there.
